Julia had always lived in York Road in Dartford. When she was 7, she awoke to noises downstairs; when she went to investigate she found the backdoor open and her mother's silver pendant (with an abstract hand and closed eye design), on the kitchen table. Julia woke her father, who became very concerned when he saw the pendant. He turned on a tap and dark, dirty water flowed out which smelled salty and brackish. The light blew in the kitchen and her dad told her to go to bed as he left the house. The next morning he returned and told Julia her mother was gone.
When Julia was 10, she took a phone call from someone who claimed to be a Detective Rayner with a new case; he sounded old and possibly German. Her father spoke to him, saying "no", "not already", "do it yourself", before finally saying he would do it as soon as possible. He spent the rest of the day in the shed.
Rabbi Meir, who believed in unconditional love, acted in accordance with his view. His own teacher, Elisha ben Abuya, eventually lost his faith and became a heretic, yet Rabbi Meir continued to study with him and respect him, maintaining that at the very last moment of his life he had repented and returned to God.[5]
Growing up in a fatherless home, where a father is absent physically or emotionally, can leave its mark on a family. According to the 2017 U.S. Census Bureau, 19.7 million children live without a father in the home - that is more than one in four. Statistics say this can have a negative effect on society as more children are likely to have behavioral problems, abuse drugs and alcohol, face abuse and neglect, and have a greater likelihood of dropping out of high school and ending up in prison.
Children often look to the approval of their parents and may have had positive or negative experiences in doing this. Yet, when we believe and trust in Jesus, we can see and know God the Father (John 12:45). When glimpsing the love the Father has for the Son in this moment, we can learn about how he loves us because we are adopted into his family and co-heirs with Christ as believers (Romans 8:17).
The love that the Father has for us was in place before the foundation of the world. There is nothing that we can do to make God love us more or less. Through Jesus, we are made holy and blameless; it is His blood that makes us clean and His Spirit that works in the life of every believer to help us become more like Him.
The Spirit which comes upon believers enables us to know the love of God personally as we are welcomed into this love. We were made to partake and belong in this beautiful, everlasting love made possible because of the blood of Jesus on the cross.
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; ...
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, ...
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. ...
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation. God settles the solitary in a home; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
"A Father's Love (The Only Way He Knew How)" is a country ballad, driven by acoustic guitar and banjo with steel guitar fills. The song's male narrator describes the way his father shows his love for him by doing rather than saying. In the first verse his father spends time making sure his car is tuned up before he leaves for college, and in the second verse he visits his son at his new house and performs maintenance work on it. In the song's bridge, the son visits his father for his sixty-fifth birthday; before he leaves, his father inspects his car once again, showing "a father's love."

Fathers not only influence who we are inside, but how we have relationships with people as we grow. The way a father treats his child will influence what he or she looks for in other people. Friends, lovers, and spouses will all be chosen based on how the child perceived the meaning of the relationship with his or her father. The patterns a father sets in the relationships with his children will dictate how his children relate with other people.
VERSE 1How has the sinner been forgivenHow has the rebel been made cleanOr blinded eyes been made to seeHow have the orphans been adoptedWho hated Your love and ran from graceDespised and rejected all Your ways
Verse 1How deep the Father's love for us,how vast beyond all measurethat He should give His on-ly Sonto make a wretch His treasure. How great the pain of sear-ing loss. The Father turns His face awayas wounds which mar the Cho-sen Onebring many sons to glo-ry.Verse 2Behold the Man upon the cross,my sin upon His shoul-ders.Ashamed, I hear my mock-ing voicecall out among the scoffers. It was my sin that held Him thereuntil it was accom-plished;His dying breath has brought me life.I know that it is fin-ished.Verse 3I will not boast in an-y- thing:no gifts, no pow'r, no wis-dom.But I will boast in Je-sus Christ:His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward?I cannot give an an-swer.But this I know with all my heart:His wounds have paid my ransom. 1995 Thankyou Music 1

Let us praise those fathers who have striven to balance the demands of work, marriage, and children with an honest awareness of both joy and sacrifice. Let us praise those fathers who, lacking a good model for a father, have worked to become a worthy and virtuous father. Let us praise those fathers who, by their own account, were not always there for their children, but who continue to offer those children, now grown, their love and support. As well, let us pray for those fathers who have been wounded by words and actions of their children. Let us praise those fathers who, despite marital discord, have remained in their children's lives.
Let us praise those men who have no children, but cherish the next generation as if they were their own. Let us praise those men who have "fathered" us in their role as mentors and guides. Let us praise those men who are about to become fathers; may they openly delight in their children. 2ff7e9595c
