You know what, I have the same problem in windows 7 x64.Tried the microsoft drivers and the 32x and 64x leadtek ones.Works fine in XP.Everything works in MCE, but its recorded video format sucks.Its not only Winfast PVR2 either, I tried MediaPortal and a few other PVR softwares and the only thing that works so far is Media Center.I know its not much help.If I resolve it, I'll post how.
Winfast Pvr2 Windows 7 64 Bit
Everytime I load up windows, it tells me a driver is blocked cos its incompatible, and its the tv card driver. I've tried telling it to update with no luck, downloaded the 64bit vista driver off the site which didnt help either. It just has the exclamation next to it in device manager, and neither pvr2 or media centre know its there.
hi there... i think i can help you with this. i too have a dtv1000 and couldnt get it to find any telly channels..so, if your running win7 please go start, then go all programs, then click windows media centre.. follow the prompts to set up live t.v and thats all there is to it.. it will find the channels in your area and you access the tv through the win media centre and not the card itself...goodluck and enjoy :-) cheers from graham p.s the card itself does not have updated drivers to run it with win7 and there wont be any as the card is now outdated.
Currently using old Leadtek Winfast DTV1000 T pci tv tuner card with Windows 7 sp1. Wanting to upgrade to Windows 10 at some stage so need to replace, since its not supported by newer Windows OS versions. Just not sure what replacement card to get that works with windows 10.
In the mean time I am using a Sony PlayTV external USB digital TV tuner with NextPVR software and KODI for windows as the front end. Works great. Was easy to setup after disabling signed drivers in windows 10 to install the unsigned drivers. without any pixelation on my longest able run.
i'm running windows 10 pro 64 bit. Card worked fine in windows 7 Pro 64 bit with Windows Media Center software and the bundled Winfast PVR2 software. Officially they never released certified windows 7 drivers just discontinued and stopped supporting the card.
